Wax types
There are many different types of wax and wax products, which can make it very difficult to make a choice. At Harsdiscounter we make a distinction between; 1) liquid wax in wax cartridge with roller 2) liquid wax in can 3) hard wax in granules or tablet.
Which wax should I use?
Liquid wax in wax cartridge with roller
- Operation: Liquid wax works through adhesion: the wax sticks to the hair, sticks to the hair removal strip and to the skin.
- Application of the wax: By roller. Roller waxing is simple, fast and effective.
- Removal of the wax: By means of a hair removal strip
- Suitable body parts: Large areas: back and chest, legs and arms. Smaller rollers are suitable for the face, underarms and bikini area. The wax should not be applied more than once.
- Operation: Liquid wax works through adhesion: the wax sticks to the hair, sticks to the hair removal strip and to the skin.
- Application of the wax: With a spatula. The wax should be applied as thinly as possible.
- Removal of the wax: By means of a hair removal strip
- Suitable body parts: Large areas: back and chest, legs and arms. Smaller rollers are suitable for the face, underarms and bikini area. The wax should not be applied more than once.
- Operation: Hard wax works by encapsulating the hair with the wax. During cooling, the wax shrinks, so that the hairs are absorbed into the wax
- Application of the wax: With a spatula. The wax should not be applied too thinly, but evenly.
- Removing the wax: After cooling, the wax resembles a thin layer of plastic. By loosening a small tab of the wax from the skin, the wax can be removed.
- Suitable body parts: Small areas such as underarms, face and bikini line. Hard wax is suitable for waxing stiff and / or short facial hair.
